I thought finding nice looking development font would be 5 minutes of browsing, but apparently it was not that easy. I found this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slant.co\/topics\/67\/~best-programming-fonts\">website with lot of programming fonts<\/a> and I tested many of them, but I liked only few &#8211; those are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fontlibrary.org\/en\/font\/anka-coder-condensed\">Anka Coder Condensed<\/a>, there are other variants of same font (<a href=\"https:\/\/fontlibrary.org\/en\/font\/anka-coder\">regular<\/a>) but Condensed works best to me<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/madmalik\/mononoki\">mononoki<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/chrissimpkins\/Hack\">Hack<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/be5invis.github.io\/Iosevka\/\">Iosevka<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fontspace.com\/m-fonts\/m-2m\">M+2m<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/larsenwork.com\/monoid\/\">Monoid<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fonts.google.com\/specimen\/Roboto+Mono\">Roboto Mono<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fontlibrary.org\/en\/font\/fantasque-sans-mono\">Fantasque Sans Mono<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fontsquirrel.com\/fonts\/camingocode\">CamingoCode<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I like Anka and Mononoki the most, but others are quite close as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is interesting that some IDEs render one font nice, while others don&#8217;t (for example Anka looks nice in Eclipse, but horrible in Netbeans, while for Fantasque it is the opposite).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was for very long time happy with Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, but since lately it doesn&#8217;t show that well on my monitor any more.
